JAMMU, Mar 11: The White Knight Corps of the Army today paid floral tributes to the brave soldier who laid down his life while guarding the frontiers in Poonch sector of Jammu region on Friday.
A wreath laying ceremony was organized in the honour of brave martyr Sep Deepak Jagannath Ghadge, who laid down his life guarding the Nation’s frontiers while serving at the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of J&K.
At Ace of Spades Division, the General Officer Commanding laid a wreath. The wreaths were also laid on behalf of Lt Gen D Anbu, Army Commander Northern Command and Lt Gen AK Sharma, General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps.
Sep Deepak Jagannath Ghadge (27), belongs to village Borgaon, Satara district of Maharashtra. He is survived by wife, son of two years and daughter of just one year.
Sep Deepak Ghadge was a dedicated, brave and sincere soldier and a thorough professional. He loved his job to the core. The nation will remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty. He will continue to motivate the future generations.
