JAMMU, Aug 8: Water supply to old city and some of its outskirts will remain affected on August 9, as due to heavy silt deposits in river Tawi resulting from recent heavy rainfall, pumping of water from Sitlee Intake structures has been reduced significantly.
The areas affected will be parts of old Jammu City, Newplot, Subash Nagar, Rehari, Sarwal, Janipur, Paloura, Chinore and other adjoining areas.
