JAMMU, Sept 28: To commemorate 3rd anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission as Swachhata Hi Sewa Jammu Municipal Corporation organized open wall painting competition on retaining walls near Hotel Asia which shall continue for three days from today to September 30.
53 participants from different schools / colleges and other artists are taking part in the competition. Wall Painting Competition started as per the directions of Commissioner JMC M. Raju) in presence of Joint Commissioner (A), Secretary, Health Officer JMC.
This initiative has been taken for beautification of Jammu city under Swachh Bharat Mission by Jammu Municipal Corporation in-collaboration with ICICI Bank Ltd. & JK Bank. The top three paintings will get cash prizes of Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
