SAMBA, Apr 12: Vijaypur Police arrested seven gamblers and recovered Rs 9370 as stake money from their possession.
According to police a team headed by SHO Police Station, Vijaypur Inspector Suraj Pathania conducted a raid near Vishwakarma Temple Vijaypur and arrested seven gamblers and recovered the stake money from their possession.
The arrested gamblers included Agdeep S/o Mithu, Nittin S/o Dinesh, Govind S/o Satnam residents of Uttar Pardesh, Dhani Ram S/o Ram Saha, Rustum, S/ o Shakoor Khan, Raju S/o Laloo residents of Madhya Pardesh and Munna Yadav S/o Vakil R/o Bihar and recovered Rs 9370/- as stake money .
In this connection a case under 13 Gambling Act has been registered against them in Police Station Vijaypur.
