JAMMU, Aug 5: Vijay Kumar Tickoo (Miskeen) a great social worker and a Kashmiri Pandit stalwart breathed his last here today. He was 68.
Tickoo who was an embodiment of cultural ethos and a great support to the community from time to time in the Valley was a house hold name among Kashmiri Pandits as well as majority community of Srinagar city. He was a regular donor of blood during his prime age for needy people irrespective of their religion, caste or region. His demise is a great loss to community as he had taken active part in all agitations led by community for its rights especially in Kashmir Valley.
His cremation will take place tomorrow at Shanti Ghat, Shakti Nagar at 11-30 am. All KP organizations have termed his demise a great loss to community.
