RAJOURI, Oct 25: Bombay Dyeing exclusive showroom by the name of Vishal Furnishings was inaugurated today by MLC Vibodh Gupta at Jawahar Nagar here, today.
This showroom is housed in a recently built state of the art building and has massive varieties for a wide range of customers. On this occasion a get to gather of the local progressive youth involved in various entrepreneurship activities was also organized.
Addressing the local youth Vibodh said that present time is a time of high opportunities and our youth must encash these. He urged the local youth that they must get knowledge about various schemes of the Government which have been designed to help the youth to set up their own business units. He gave overview of the popular Government schemes specially those being implemented by Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) and Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB).
While giving details about JKEDI he said that this institute has been established by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to effectively enable entrepreneurship development in the State. The institute has positioned itself as a learning center par excellence with state of the art regional centers across Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Besides, JKEDI Community Organisers are in all of the 22 districts enabling entrepreneurship and promoting development at the grassroots.
Giving details about KVIB he said that this Board is charged with the planning, promotion, organization and implementation of programmes for the development of business and other village industries in the rural areas with the financial support of Khadi& Village Industries Commission.
