Various organizations call for unity, peace besides punishment to enemy

JAMMU, Feb 19: Condemning Pulwama terror attack on CRPF and calling for stringent action against Pakistan, various organizations have appealed for peace and communal harmony besides punishment to the anti-nationals.
Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market Jammu held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Rattan Lal Gupta and expressed grief over the martyrdom of CRPF Jawans in Pulwama terror attack and also martyrdom of Major, 4 Army Jawans and a constable in Pinglana village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The Federation expressed sympathy with the bereaved families of martyrs and urged the Government of India to take necessary measures for wiping out terrorism from J&K. General secretary Deepak Gupta said that people of India want strict action against Pakistan and the whole nation was united and standing with Central Government for revenge of martyred Jawans.
For paying tributes to the CRPF martyrs, a candle light march was taken out from Sadda Chowk to Main Market in Bishnah. The march, led by Anrudh Sharma (Nippu), passed through various bazaars of the town. The participants paid tributes to the martyrs and said that sacrifices of the security forces would not go waste. Those who addressed the gathering, included Sushant Gupta, Manik Sharma, Shiva Sharma, Nittu Sharma and others.
President of Malik Market Welfare Committee, Jammu, Advocate Mohd Latif Malik has strongly condemned the attack on CRPF and expressed deep condolences with the families of the martyred Jawans . “Since Terrorism has no religion and the terrorists are enemies of humanity, therefore I appeal people from all religions to join hands with the Government to eliminate terrorism from the soil of our country at the earliest,” he said and appealed the Government of India to act stringently against those who are involved in militancy related activities.
Mr Malik further urged the people of all religions to maintain communal harmony and peace at this crucial time and be united for the nation. “I further appeal the Government to ensure that no one should be allowed to take law in their hands and those responsible for trying to create communal tension at Gujjar Nagar, Jammu or at Janipur Jammu, should not be allowed to escape from the law of the land,” he added.
Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha Jammu has said that purported statement by some elements claiming that all Kashmiri Muslim were in danger in Jammu and other places , was highly motivated to create insecurity and communal divide in the mind of all public. “There is no problem, no danger to any Kashmiri Muslims except those raising anti India and pro-Pakistani slogans in Janipur, Gujjar Nagar, Government Quarters Subash Nagar provoking nationalist forces and hurting their sentiments which is highly objectionable,” the Sabha said and added that all Kashmiri Muslims are patriot except a few who are on the pay role of Pakistani agencies.
“Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha will make any scarifies to maintain the communal harmony and protect the Kashmiri Muslims in Jammu. We are ever ready to help the nationalist forces of Kashmir. We urge the law enforcing agencies to differentiate between anti national and nationalist people so that communal harmony is maintained and curfew is lifted at the earliest,” the Sabha said.
In its 339th Monday Theatre, Ek Sath Rang Mandal today presented Vijay Malla’s new progressive Nukad Natak `Bas Ab Aur Nahi’, in which the actors appealed younger generation that nothing was above the nation and its security. Through the play, it was also conveyed that the country was united irrespective of cast, colour and creed.
Vishal Khatri Sabha condemned the terror attack and appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to maintain peace and communal harmony. In an appeal, president Vishal Khatri Sabha, Devender Seth appealed the Police to take strict action against those indulging in any type of violence, arson or rumour mongering, irrespective of political and religious affiliation.
Members of Asha Kiran welfare Society and residents of Janipur Colony assembled near Devak Community Hall and paid homage to the CRPF martyrs and those who sacrificed their lives while fighting militants yesterday at Srinagar. On the occasion, a two-minute silence was observed.
Speakers, on the occasion, appealed people to maintain communal harmony for peace in the region and foil nefarious designs of anti-nationals. Those who spoke, included Anil Kohli, Dr J P Gupta, Kamal Netar, Rajinder Puri, Hari Chand, Subash Sharma, Vinod Kumar and Vikas Gupta.
President of Jammu West Assembly Movement, Sunil Dimple took out an anti-Pakistan procession and appealed the Government of India to declare full fledge war against the enemy country. He announced Rs 50 lakh for those who kill Sayeed Hafiz, Slahu-ud-Din and Azhar Masood. He also appealed the administration to lift curfew restrictions so that people may take out peaceful protest rallies against Pakistan.
Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has also maintained that Jammu belongs to all religions and attempts to vitiate atmosphere of the Duggar land would not be tolerated. In a statement, he said that Jammu Dogras are 100 per cent nationalists and peace loving while some elements from Kashmir were trying to create a divide here on communal lines. “SRS will not tolerate anyone raising slogans pro-Pakistan slogans on Indian soil and there can be no compromise on issues of national security,” he said and appealed the masses to maintain communal harmony amongst all nationalistic forces in Jammu.
JKNPP leader Neeraj Gupta along with his supporters, Party workers and locals organized a Shardanjli programme at Transport Nagar, Jammu to pay tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama terror attack . He appealed to the people of J&K to maintain peace and communal harmony. “During this difficult time, the whole nation joins hands against the anti-national forces. We must teach a lesson to anti-national elements so that they l never dare to test our patience,” he said.
BJP leader Raman Suri, while paying tributes to the martyrs, appealed people to maintain communal harmony and peace for foiling nefarious designs of anti-nationals.
