‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ is rock-solid at BO, mints Rs 70.94 cr

NEW DELHI: RSVP’s first release of this year ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is on a winning spree, as it is running successfully on the box office collecting Rs 70.94 crore.

‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam, on its seventh day of release stays rock solid at the box office and spilling the magic on the audience.

‘Uri’ has taken a strong lead at the box-office with a growing trend.

The movie has set the box- office on fire with collecting Friday Rs 8.20 crore, Saturday Rs 12.43 crore, Sunday Rs 15.10 crore, Monday Rs 10.51 crore, Tuesday Rs 9.57 crore, Wednesday Rs 7.73 crore and on Thursday Rs 7.4 crore with a grand total of Rs 70.94 crore.

Touted to be the first content film of the year, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has been winning hearts emerging to be one of the first hit of 2019 given by RSVP after giving ‘Kedarnath’.

‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is based on the surgical strikes which were carried out by the Indian army in 2016.

Besides Vicky Kaushal, the film also features Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and debutante Mohit Raina. The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar and it has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

The film has hit the screens on January 11 and still going strong in the second week.
