JAMMU, May 4: Accusing the Congress led UPA Government of making country internally as well as externally weak, BJP today said the Chinese intrusion in Ladakh and killing of Indian prisoners Sarbajit Singh and Chamail Singh in Pakistani jail are the reflection of failure of UPA’s foreign policy.
UPA is a total failure on domestic as well as external front, party’s national spokesperson Capt (retd) Abhimanyu along with party’s State chief spokesperson and National Executive Member, Dr Jitendra Singh, told reporters here today.
He said on the domestic front the UPA gave nothing to this nation except scams while on external front it failed to take on neighboring countries. This Government has not only failed to take on China and Pakistan but some smaller nations are brow beating India today due to weak-kneed policies of UPA, he added.
He said intrusion by Chinese Army is a cause of concern and it is pity that the Government remained in deep slumber till China intruded into 20 kms inside Indian territory in Ladakh. It is high time for the people of India to say good buy this tainted Government lock stock and barrel and as early this Government goes the better, he added.
Capt. Abhimanyu also referred to recent coal scam status report submitted to CBI, the contents of which had been shared with Union Law Minister Ashwani Kumar and modifications made thereafter.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, who also address the media, said that the Congress-led UPA Government has become so unpopular that its ouster in the next election is definite and a fore gone conclusion but the earlier it goes the batter it is so that the next Government which takes over has an opportunity to set the things right. Each day the Congress-led UPA Government stays in power will cost the nation heavily both in terms of economic deterioration as well as increasing external threat, he added.
