JAMMU, Mar 18: The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 35 years was recovered from the bank of River Chenab in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
“The body was spotted near Bruta Mandi by some locals who informed the police. Police has shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/post mortem”, a police spokesman said.
He said that the body is wearing black colour sweater and trouser, and white colour action shoe. “Inquest proceedings have been initiated in this connection at police station Akhnoor”, he said, adding, any missing report if lodged in any police station, please contact police station Akhnoor at phone number 0192-4252225 and mobile number 9419147059.
