Turmeric remains weak on low demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 7: Turmeric prices fell further by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today on easing demand against adequate stocks position.
However, other spices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at the last levels.
Marketmen said, a fall in demand against sufficient stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions, mainly kept pressure on the turmeric prices.
Turmeric declined by Rs 100 to Rs 7,500-10,500 per quintal.
