Three notorious criminals nabbed

JAMMU, Feb 18: Police today nabbed three notorious criminals for stabbing a youth in Bari-Brahmana.
A police spokesman said that, Vipan Kumar alias Johny, son of Satpal of SIDCO Bari-Brahmana, Deepak Kumar alias Deepu, son of Ramesh Chander of Kanal, Bari-Brahmana and Sanjeev Kumar alias Ripu, son of Mulkh Raj of Ward Number 3, Bari-Brahmana stabbed a youth namely Jatinder Kumar, son of Raj Mal of Ward Number 3, Bari-Brahmana over a minor issues yesterday evening.
All the accused fled from the spot after committing the offence.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the victim to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
Accordingly, a case under FIR number 20/14 under Section 307/34 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at police station Bari-Brahmana and manhunt launched to nab the accused.
On specific inputs, police nabbed all the accused from Bari-Brahmana and Vijaypur areas.
All these accused are notorious criminals and involved in various criminal cases registered at different police stations.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team headed by Dr Showkat A Bhat made the arrest under the supervision of Shazaad Salaria, SDPO Bari-Brahmana and Anil Magotra, SP Samba.
