RAJOURI, Mar 13: Three bootleggers were arrested and illicit liquor and lahan recovered by sleuths of Excise Department during raids indifferent villages of Rajouri district.
The accused have been identified as Ashok Kumar of Agarati, Kalmesh Devi and Anita Devi of Sasalkote. The raids were conducted at villages Chatibakri, Sagyote, Sasalkote, Agarati, Doongi and Lamola area. The accused were booked underExcise Act, 1958.
The raiding party was headed by Excise Inspector Mohd Pervaiz under the supervision of ETO Farooq Choudhary, on the direction of Mohd Javid Khan, Excise Commissioner and Deputy Excise Commissioner Ghans-hyam Singh.
