UDHAMPUR, Apr 10: Police today worked out a theft case and recovered stolen property worth Rs 60,000 besides arresting the thief.
Identity of the arrested thief was established as Mukesh Kumar of Shiv Nagar, Udhampur.
Based on a complaint of AFCONS authorities regarding theft of 13 shuttering jacks from AFCONS Company, amounting to Rs 60,000/- approximately, case was registered at Police Station Rehmbal and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, Police arrested one accused a suspect and on his sustained interrogation, the accused admitted of committing the crime. He also disclosed the involvement of his two associates, who are still at large.
