JAMMU, Apr 10: The Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Tanvir Sadiq, today hit back at Mehbooba Mufti saying that she continues to embarrass herself and her latest accusation against the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is one classic example of this.
“After the boycott in Assembly and their open fight in the public among their leadership, it is clear that they are not only clueless but also foresee their humiliating defeat in 2014” he said.
Reminding Mehbooba of NC’s contribution, Tanvir said it was Omar Abdullah’s NC which passed the Autonomy resolution in the Assembly and the only party that seeks a peaceful solution to the issue and has a valid constitutional document in its support unlike PDP whose Self Rule balloon has burst without a whimper and their duplicity has been exposed.
“They have literally given up on the resolution and their one point agenda is only to somehow grab power”, he said.
Hitting back at PDP on Afzal Guru and Maqbool Bhat, Tanvir asked Mehbooba to come clear on the position of her senior most leaders who back stabbed Maqbool Bhat and asked for Afzal’s hanging in national interest”.
PDP is now trying to shed crocodile tears to hoodwink the people by playing dirty politics in this situation, until they accept their own complicity all this other talk of theirs is just guilt induced nonsense,” he added.
