This has reference to the news item ‘Dy CM launches Swachhata App’ DE Jan 1, 2018.
It is quite appreciating that the Government is committed to the cause of cleanliness in the State. Every effort is required to be made to ensure that the Swachhta campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a success. Unless everybody contributes in the mission, there will no cleanliness in and around us. The State Government must also ensure that the schemes launched in this regard are implemented in letter and spirit. If the Government had decided to ban polythene bags in the State, why was there no implementation ? The statutes framed should not remain confined in books only, but be implemented sincerely.
Otherwise, the day is not far when we may be wallowing in dirt and filth all around us, making life quite miserable.
