SRINAGAR, Mar 6: State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) today produced charge-sheet against six Govt officials in the court , against whom a case FIR was registered nine years ago.
The charge-sheet was filed in the court of Additional Special Judge Anti- Corruption Baramulla in case FIR No. 31/ 2009 under section 5(1) (C), 5 (1) (d), read with 5(2) of the Jammu and Kashmir Prevention of Corruption Act Svt; 2006 r/w section 120 B, 468, 471, 409 RPC, against six officials of Horticulture Department.
They are – Ghulam Mohd Gojri, the then Horticulture Development Officer Hajin, Ghulam- Ud-Din Lone the then Technician -III, Ghulam Rasool Khan the then Technician -II, Mohd Nizam Din the then Technician-II, Ghulam Rasool Sheikh, the then Technician IV and Bashir Ahmed Mir, the then district store keeper of the department.
The Vigilance Organisation took cognizance after complaint regarding misappropriation of items / articles from the stores during 2006- 2008 was received. After completion of investigation the charge sheet was filed in the court at Baramulla today.
