SRINAGAR, Sept 1: A group of 20 students from Shopian district of South Kashmir undergoing educational/motivational tour sponsored by Chinar Corps called on Army Chief General Dalbir Singh. The students shared their experiences with the Army Chief.
General Dalbir Singh addressed the children and explained to them that such tour will go a long way in broadening their mental horizon.
“While taking part in extra-curricular activities and sports, the students should also concentrate on academics to achieve excellence”, he added.
Mr Singh dwelt on the vast opportunities available to the youth today in Indian Defence sector.
He exhorted the young boys to work hard and with dedication to achieve excellence in all fields and stressed that there is no short cut to hard work.
The young boys promised to work for development of the society in general and the nation in particular.
