Students continue hunger strike, 2 hospitalized

KISHTWAR, Dec 13: Not satisfied with the decision of Jammu University authorities, the students of Kishtwar Campus continued their hunger strike in the premises of DC office, here.
Though officers of district administration, District Police and Jammu University today tried to negotiate but students remained firm on their demands of rolling back the fee hike decision, removal of Director of Kishtwar Campus and extending the dates of exams of 6th Semester of Geology.
It is to mention that, sudden hike in semester fee just before the final exams by University authorities led to protest by students.
Earlier, the students were protesting in the Kishtwar Campus, but since Monday they are on hunger strike in the premises of DC office.
Meanwhile, health conditions of two members of ABVP sitting on hunger strike deteriorated and were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar.
