JAMMU, May 11: 66th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal celebrated its 3rd Raising Day at Battalion campus in Lower Roop Nagar area of Jammu.
Manavendra Negi, Deputy Inspector General, SSB Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion. The celebration began with the glorious guard of honour. The DIG, in his speech, emphasized the need for undoubted commitment towards work to provide better services to the nation and its citizens. The chief guest also interacted with all the troops and officers of the Battalion during the Bada Khaana.
NS Negi, JAO SHQ Jammu, Barjeet Singh, Deputy Commandant, SP Tondup, Deputy Commandant, Dr Rajat Sehgal, Assistant Commandant (medical) and Dr Mrinalini Singh, Assistant Commandant (medical) were also present on the occasion.
After lunch session, an inter-company volleyball match and a tug-of-war round for recreation and moral boost up of the Jawans of the Battalion were organized.
