JAMMU, Dec 8: Spring Blossom’s High School, Bakshi Nagar and Lakkar Mandi, Janipur collaboratively celebrated Annual Day at Abhinav Theatre, here.
Kavinder Gupta, Speaker Legislative Assembly was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sat Sharma, MLA Jammu West presided over the function. Shabnum Kamili, Director Technical Education was the guest of honour and Vinay Sharma, SP Operations was the special guest.
The function began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and the other dignitaries.
The dignitaries along with the school Principal paid rich tributes to founder of the School, Sudagar Shah.
After the welcome address, Dr Sudhir Mahajan presented annual report of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the school management for providing quality education and promoting co-curricular activities.
Sat Sharma while speaking on the occasion, termed teachers and students as the builders of the society and the nation.
Shabnum Kamili and Vinay Sharma distributed mementoes and awards among the meritorious students.
Students presented a variety of cultural and allied items on the occasion, which enthralled the audience.
Raman Gupta, Joint Director (Budget) and Bharti Sambyal (Joint Director Funds Organization Jammu) were also present on the occasion.
Later, Divya Gupta, Principal of the School presented vote of thanks.
