Born in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Mitali Dogra, is an ace Gymnast, who not only has excelled at the National Level but at the International level as well. Apart from having many awards in her kitty at the National and International scene, the gutsy Gymnast represented J&K in the recently concluded 35th National Games and brought laurels for the State. The Sher-e-Kashmir State Awardee, Mitali won 2 bronze, besides a team gold for the State in Rhythmic Gymnastics in the recently concluded National Games at Kerala. She got 1 gold in team event and one bronze in individual event in Rhythmic Gymnastics. She is being coached and trained by Arjuna Awardee, Krupali Singh and Gymnastics coach S P Singh. She has the distinction of representing India in many International events held at Russia, Ukrine, Uzbekistan and Thailand. A hardworking Gymnast, Mitali does rigorous training for hours together each day. With slim, trim and athletic physique, coupled with extraordinary motor ability and sharp reflexes, one expects her bright future. Her excellence in the recently concluded National Games is the testimony to her grit and guts. She has made the entire State proud by winning 2 medals in the prestigious National Games.
