JAMMU, Feb 9: RS Pura police arrested a shopkeeper along with recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and assisted by SHO RS Pura Inspector Bhushan Manhas under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal conducted raid at a general shop and recovered 35 pouches of illicit liquor.
Police arrested the shopkeeper, who has been identified as Rashpal Singh, son of Bihara Singh, a resident of Badyal Kazian.
A case under Excise Act has been registered at RS Pura police station and investigation started.
