JAMMU, June 23: The workers of Shiv Sena ( AG) & Dogra Front under the leadership of its president Ashok Gupta took out a procession in Jammu City against the imposition of the security deposit clause for the langar walas as they have to pay money for the sheds which were provided earlier by the State Government.
Gupta stated that the Langar walas should be provided free of cost chopper service for the transition of goods of food and beverages from Pahalgam to the holy cave so that they can organize the Langar with the help from the Government and serve to the people in a more better way.
He said Pissutop which is situated at a high altitude and the yatris have to ascend a steep hill so an advisory should be published in all the papers and website that what kind of the medical supplies that pilgrims should carry with themselves so that they don’t face any problem there.
The Government of J&K is spending crores of rupees on the advertisement for the promotion of tourism in the State and at the time of PDP- Congress coalition the then CM  Mufti Sayeed organized  a big lavish banquet in Mumbai for the big players of the  travel and tourism industry which costed crores of rupees for the promotion of tourism but on the contrary the biggest assets of the State like Mata Vaishno Devi and Amarnath Yatra are being imposed with taxes and deposits which just shows that the slogan of the Prime Minister that every one would be treated equally has not been fulfilled as different yardsticks are being used with different people.
Gupta said huge subsidy is given to Haj pilgrims while the Langerwals of Amarnath are asked to deposit security and taxes are imposed on yatris of both Mata Vaishno Devi and Amarnath Shrine.
