MENDHAR, Sept 29: Seve-ral villages from Balakote area of district Poonch are without water supply for about three to four weeks.
The villagers from Balakote, Sandote, Lower Dhar Galoon, Morha Kallar and Sangiot alleged that PHE pipes are lying broken at many places while water pumping station is also out of order at Sandot. The concerned authorities have failed to restore water supply despite repeated requests. They sought the intervention of MLA and the Chief Engineer PHE Jammu into the matter.
