JAMMU, Feb 18: SC, ST Retired Employees Forum has expressed concern over the Government’ Circular No- GAD (Ser) Gen/38/2013, alleging that it is non-consonance with the Reservation rules applicable in the State especially SRO- 110 dated April, 19, 2000.
In a meeting of the Forum held here today under the chairmanship of its president, SS Sarngal, all the participants resolved to oppose any such move, which will affect Reservation rules already enforced in the State.
The Forum extended its full support to the stand taken by the Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand and other Ministers as well as MLCs, who represented the cause of SC, ST employees to the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.
The Forum members appealed the Chief Minister to intervene into the matter and do justice SC, ST employees of the State.
