JAMMU, Feb 8:  Impressed by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making India a clean nation  State president BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma has started a campaign in his Constituency.
In this regard Mr Sharma today inaugurated newly constructed toilet complex at Main Market Rehari Colony Near Sarwal Police Post.
Accompanied by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) officials and a large number of people hailing from the area, many social and political activists were also present on the occasion.
The works of the Toilet complex have been done under the supervision of Lakshya social service organization and it will also be maintained by the same. It has been constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 13  lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was an old demand of residents and shop owners of the area which was pending from more than a decade and starting of such thing will surely help in promoting cleanliness across the surroundings.
He also said that the Prime Minister has a broad vision of making this great nation clean and green and for fulfilling it becomes the responsibility of each and every resident of the society to come forward and contribute in this noble cause.
He also toured Master Devi Chand Municipal Park, Rehari with JMC officials and local residents and directed the officials to take up the construction works needed in the park for the welfare of the locals. He also directed them for construction of a walking path, swings for kids, Plantation, Benches and drain for streamlining the water in the park.
SE Joint Commissioner Works JMC Kushal Chand, X-En Central Division Parvodh Sharma including other engineers and BJP leaders accompanied the MLA.
