Samba District Cycling C’ship flagged off

SAMBA, Feb 28: Samba District Cycling Championship was flagged off by the former Minister Manjit Singh in an impressive function, here today.
The Championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association and and J&K State Sports Council to give fillip to sports in J&K.
Around 60 players drawn from different schools participated in the Championship to vie for the top honours.
Prominent among others present during the flag off ceremony were Om Parkash, General Secretary, J&K Cycling Association; Rajan Sharma, General Secretary J&K Boxing Association; Sham Lal Bhagat, Sarpanch; Mohan Lal, Surinder Sharma, Dimple Sharma, Bachan Choudhary and Dheeraj Sharma.
