SRINAGAR, July 5: Civil Society members, Revenue Officers Association, All J&K Patwar Association and Revenue Employees Association appealed to the Governor to revoke the transfer order of Dr Asgar Samoon.
A meeting of Civil Society members, Revenue Officers Association, All J&K Patwar Association and Revenue Employees Association was held in which the participants expressed their dismay over the transfer of Dr Samoon.
They said that the transfer of Dr Samoon will clearly be a set back to administrative reforms and accountability, adding that such transfer orders are made only to defame the Governor rule.
They appealed to the Governor to intervene and allow Dr Samoon to continue as Financial Commissioner Revenue in the larger interest of general public.
