As reported the Kashmiri people have participated in the ULB elections in a very significant number despite boycott call given the leaders of National Conference and PDP as well as threats given by the militant groups. It clearly indicates that the people of Kashmir have full faith in Indian constitution and the democratic system of India.
It seems to be the right time to hit the nail on the head. The first step is to take appropriate steps for the safety and security of all those who have participated in the elections and thereafter fresh elections of the State Legislative Assembly should be held for formation of popular Government.
It is hoped that the lost peace and prosperity will be restored very soon and all the people would be able to visit Kashmir valley, the Paradise on Earth without any fear.
