Retired Policemen demand removal of pay anomalies

RAJOURI, Dec 6: Retired Police personnel have demanded removal of pay anomalies in the pay grades of  Head Constables and Assistant Sub Inspectors  and 15% reservation for their wards in Police jobs.
In a meeting of  Retired Police Personnel Forum held here today under the chairmanship of Om Parkash Sharma, district president, the members discussed their pending demands. They said that one rank one pension be granted in favour of retired policemen. They also demanded removal of pay anomalies in favour of HCs and ASIs, 15% quota for their wards in Police jobs, free medical treatment for the family members of retired Police personnel  and sanction of Rs 50,000 to the retired Policemen for the marriage of their daughters out of Police Welfare Fund.
They criticized the higher authorities in the Police department for ignoring their long pending demands.
