Remove anomalies in pay grades: GEWJAC

JAMMU, Mar 11: J&K Govt Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee (GEWJAC) has urged upon the State Government to remove pay anomalies of the clerical cadre, increase Medical allowance and implement 7th Pay Commission report in the State without any delay.
In a meeting of the Joint Action Committee of the Govt employees and workers held here today under the leadership of Babu Hussain Malik (president), Bharat Bhushan ( vice president) and others here today, the members expressed serious concern over the delay being caused by the State Government in addressing the long pending issues of the employees and workers.
They further appealed the Government to implement the High Court order with regard to the removal of pay anomalies in the clerical cadre. They condemned the respective Govts for their betrayal and not fulfilling the commitment made with the clerical cadre. The other demands included regularization of daily wagers, sanctioning of dislocation allowance to employees, increase their Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month and implement 7th Pay Commission report without any delay.
