Ravi Dass Trust organizing Shobha Yatra to Haridwar

JAMMU, Mar 15:  Shri Guru Ravi Dass SS Trust, Sikderpur Kothey (Jammu) is  organising annual Begumpura Itihasik Damri Shobha Yatra from Sikanderpur, Jammu to Haridwar.
Talking to media-persons here today, chairman of the Trust,   CL Banal disclosed that grand Shobha Yatra will be organised on April 6, 2017. It will be flagged off by Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj at 10.30 am. He said Damri Shobha Yatra  will be accorded warm reception at different places like Digiana, Gangyal, Kunjwani Chowk, Bari Brahmana, Vijaypur, Samba, Hiranagar an Kalibari (Kathua).
At Madhopur and Sujanpur, the Shobha Yatra will be welcomed by the people from Punjab. It will have night halt at Dera  Swami Jagat Giri Ji Maharaj at Pathankote. On next day, Yatra  will start for Haridwar at  7 am and it will reach Haridwar on April 8 in the morning. A grand Begumpura, Damri Shobha Yatra on April 8 will start from Guru Ravi Dass Ashram, Nirmala Chawni   and will culminate at Har Ki Paudi, Haridwar.
Parkash Utsav of Guru Ravi Dass Ji will be celebrated on April  9 at Nirmala Chawni. The people from various parts of the country will attend this programme. He disclosed that  Rs 1000 (one thousand) per head is being charged  as travel fare including boarding/lodging for five days from the Sangat. The devotees must contact  him,  DD Shivgotra, general secretary of the Trust and other members Parshotam Thappa, M L Banalia and Natha Ram Angral for the ticket. They can also contact at Mob. On April 14, a function will be organised at Siokderpur Bhawan in connection with the birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Mr Banal added.
