NEW DELHI: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday held a meeting with senior party leaders to discuss the strategy for the Budget session of Parliament, which commences on January 29.
Party sources said that the meeting, attended by Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad and Leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, discussed ways to attack the Government on issues like the current economic situation, the issue of farmers distress, the Rafale fighter aircraft deal, the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill as well as the Financial Resolution and Deposit Insurance (FRDI) Bill.
