JAMMU, Mar 17: A delegation of Raghunath Bazar Businessmen Association met with Director General of Police J&K, Dr. Sheesh Pal Vaid and discussed various issues related to Raghunath Bazar and adjoining areas, here today.
A team of office bearers of the Raghunath Bazar Businessmen Association was led by its President – Surinder Mahajan. The President introduced the team members to the DGP and also highlighted various concerns of the business community of the area and suggested various measures that need to be taken to provide secure and hassle-free shopping experience in the area.
While interacting with the DGP, General Secretary of the Association Bhagwan Kohli stressed for permanent solution to the parking issues in the area and suggested that in the wake of prevailing security scenario proper CCTV infrastructure needs to be installed and operated.
Other members of the team Senior Vice President Mukesh Gupta, Junior Vice President Pawan Sharma, Secretary Naresh Sadhotra and Treasurer Amit Kapoor highlighted the immediate need of managing the traffic more efficiently so that the business community as well as the shoppers are saved from unnecessary inconvenience due to traffic jamming.
Dr. S P Vaid showed keen interest in the various issues highlighted by the office bearers of the Association and assured all possible help in making Raghunath Bazar and it’s adjoining areas safe, secure and decongested. Showing promptness, DGP even rang up IG Traffic Jammu and discussed traffic related issues specific to Raghunath Bazar area.
