Radio Kashmir Jammu organizes cultural programme

JAMMU, Jan 24: Radio Kashmir, Jammu today organized a cultural programme “Ek Shaam Aapke Naam” in connection with Republic Day celebrations at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium here.
Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar was the chief guest on the occasion.
The son of soil, Santoor Maestro Abhay Rustum Sopori, enthralled the audience with his scintillating performance while as the child artists from ‘The Doon School’ filled the auditorium with colors of patriotism.
The programme ended with the singing and dance performances by folk artists from Rajasthan, Kohinoor Langa and party who presented their local culture before the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the efforts of Radio Kashmir, Jammu for organizing the cultural programme and congratulated the artists for showcasing their talent.
