PYC seeks relief for earthquake affected areas of Ramnagar

Excelsior Correspondent
RAMNAGAR, June 6: Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) has sought immediate roll-out of relief and rehabilitation measures in  areas of Ramnagar, particularly those which are bordering Seoj Dhar and have borne the brunt of earthquake tremors.
The demand was raised by general secretary of the PYC, RS Pathania during a whirl wind tour of various villages and far flung pockets of Ramnagar.
After attending large village level public meetings at Gandh Top, Pattian, Paddar, Raslithukari, Kaith and Rang, Pathania observed that people are living in a realm of uncertainity as late-night tremors have sent waves of fear among the residents of the area. But sordid part of the affair has been that district-level administration has not rolled out any relief and rehabilitation measures.
The locals also demanded upgradation of PHC Basantgarh to a full-fledged CHC, a fresh CHC at Dudu and allopathic dispensaries for Punara, Mang, Balota Upperla, Charri Bangla and Parla Chakal, etc.
