RAMNAGAR, Jan 27: Pradesh Youth Congress led by its general secretary, R S Pathania and senior Congress leader, Vinod Khajuria, today organised a one-day token-protest outside Tehsil Office, here today to press for resolving burning issues of Ramnagar.
Later a protest procession was taken through bazaars of Ramnagar and then a memorandum was submitted to Governor, Chief Minister, and other top officials of Government through Tehsildar Ramnagar.
While craving greater development, good governance, responsive administration for hilly areas of Ramnagar, Pathania decried lack of basic facilities and proper employment avenues in Ramnagar.
He asserted that steps be initiated for creation of Shrine Boards and proper development, projection and creation of state-of-art tourism facilities at various historical temples including ancient Devi Bani temple, Aapshambu temples at Dalsar and Khoon, Jagannath temple at Thail, Pandava temples at Garh-Dhamma and Babay, Ambika Mata temple at Sundla and Pingla Mata shrines.
