DODA, May 14:  Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), vice president and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today said that the present unholy alliance is exposed before the people and the BJP is exploited the sentiments of the people in Jammu. He said that Congress would emerge stronger in the State in near future as it has its strong base in all three regions in the State.
Addressing public meetings at Tanta, Batogra, Chabba, Gugara, Malanoo and  Dugroon areas of tehsil Kahara of Doda today, Saroori blamed the present coalition in the State and the Centre Government for its wrong policies leading to worsening of the overall situation which is a cause of great concern for all peace loving people of the State,  who wanted peace to prevail for the overall economic growth and progress like other parts of the country”, Saroori said and added that these are the reasons that the people must take a stand in future not to support people and parties that have given them trouble.
He said that the present coalition of opportunist forces has widened the gap between the regions instead of bridging the same because of their inherent contradictions. He said that the government has been working with vested political interests and has failed to initiate any developmental activities. He said due to non-performance of State Government the present ‘coalition’ has lost its credibility. It has shattered the faith of the people as the promises made with public during previous elections were not fulfilled by the parties. The coalition is directionless and floating like unmanned ship. It stood exposed in view of non-governance and worst ever performance. The people are not going to spare them in the next elections, he added.
Saroori said it was only during Congress regime that residents of rural, far flung, hilly areas witnessed the effective governance in place as the people were made part of the decision making process. He reminded that Congress had laid foundation of balanced and equitable development in J&K.
“The Congress has set an example of good governance and it carved out a path of equitable development in the State”, Saroori maintained.
