JAMMU, Jan 4: To carry out work of shifting of poles and work of National Highway, the shutdown of 33 KV Ramnagar and Chenani Line is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Ramnagar, Basantgarh, Chowki, Sateny, Chenani, Dhuna and Johnu will remain affected on January 7 and 8 from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
Similarly, to carry out the urgent works, the shutdown of 33/11 KV Receiving Station Ramban is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Ramban Town, Chanderkote, Battery Chasma, Karol, Essential and MES etc will remain affected on January 8 from 9 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, to carry out works by M/s IRCON International Ltd. under R-APDRP scheme, the shutdown of 11 KV RN-2 Feeder is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Lower Roop Nagar, Roop Nagar Colony and adjoining areas will remain affected on January 8 from 10 am to 1 pm.
