SRINAGAR, Mar 29: Senior leader and vice chairman ST Cell, Yaseen Poswal, who has filed nomination paper for by-elections to Anantnag Lok Sabha Constituency today withdrew from the contest in favour of INC- NC joint candidate GA Mir.
Poswal announced this decision immediately after meeting with senior Congress leader Taj Mohi- Ud-Din at Khanabal, Anantnag Today. The duo held long discussion regarding by-elections.
Poswal assured his full support to GA Mir in upcoming by -elections.
Later, Poswal accompanied by Taj Mohiuddin moved to the Returning Officer, where he (Poswal) withdrew his nomination in favour of INC- NC candidate GA Mir.
