This has the reference to the letters pertaining to surgical strike published in the paper.
Military operations must not be politicised having secrecy and stretegy of a country. The surgical strike carried out at multiple points simultaneously in PoK caused heavy loss of lives to the enemy country. This strike was unique and first of its kind. The operation was ordered under the signature of PM and watched till its conclusion. As stated in the column that many times such operations were condcuted in the past also. Here the question arises as to whether they were ordered under the signatures of erstwhile PMs. If not, there is nothing wrong in celebrating surgical strike as we also celebrate Kargil Divas. Our team successfully returned after carrying out the operation. PM personally minitored the whole operation. Had there been any loss to our team then PM could have been badly criticized. Celebrating surgical strike day as Shaurya Divas would surely boost the morale of team and largely our Army.
