Politicians responsible for present violence in Kashmir: PRP

SRINAGAR, Apr 14: Peoples Republican Party (PRP) has urged the Union Government to initiate a dialogue process with all stake holders of Jammu and Kashmir to find an everlasting solution to present imbroglio.
In a specially convened meeting at Ganderbal today under the leadership of its chairman Mir Ghulam Rasool grave concern was expressed over the violence and loss of many precious lives. The PRP leaders said that they can’t remain a silent spectators to what is happening in Kashmir valley and for restoration of the peace the Government should immediately hold talks with all stakeholders to find an amicable solution to the issue so that the peace is restored in the Valley.
The PRP also took a dig at the political parties for exploiting the innocent people for their vote politics and warned them that they can’t take people for a ride always. “The political parties should work with utmost responsibility instead of playing with innocent lives by their uncalled for statements”. “The people who tasted power for decades together either alligning with Congress party or BJP have no right to spill venom to instigate innocent people”, the PRP leaders added.
They also made an appeal to the people to maintain peace and not to be misled by the statements of those leaders who have massed huge wealth and made fortunes for their families by exploiting them for their vote politics only. The meeting expressed the hope that common masses of Kashmir will act with utmost maturity and giving a befitting reply to the tricky politicians who have been responsible for the entire mess in the State.
The meeting was attended by G A War, Abdul Razak Dar, GulamAhemd Shilwati.
They also appealed both India and Pakistan to hold dialogue for ensuring everlasting peace in the Subcontinent.
