Srinagar, Mar 2: Police today cane charged National Health Mission (NHM) employees who are on protest sit-in here in press enclave at Lal Chowk area of summer capital.The NHM employees yesterday started three day protest sit-in strike over their regularization demand and camped at press enclave. To highlight their demand, the NHM employees today staged protest and tried to take out a rally but as soon as they stepped outside press enclave, police stopped them and used batons.
The police cane charge broke the protest of the NHM employees and they were pushed back to press enclave. The police also removed the makeshift camp of the NHM employees but later they again installed it and continued their protest.
