RAJOURI, Oct 22: The district unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum urged the Government to expedite the process of regularization of the incharge incumbents in the School Education Department.
In a meeting of the Forum held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Mohd Amin Mir, the speakers said that many incharge incumbents including Joint Directors/SIE Principals, CEOs/DIET Principals, Principals of HSS Schools, ZEOs, Headmasters, lecturers and dropout lecturers have been awaiting their regularization for years together. They stressed that they be regularized immediately without any further delay.
The speakers also expressed concern over the existence of large no of vacancies of different cadres of the teaching and non-teaching staff in various Higher Secondary Schools and demanded that these vacancies be filled up at the earliest. They also demanded filling of vacancies of Principals and ZEOs.
The issue of examination was also discussed in view of ensuing J&K BOSE Annual Regular examinations 2018 of Higher Secondary Part I, and II. The association took strong exception to the move by the district or Sub-district authorities where in officials from other departments have been assigned to monitor and supervise the examinations starting from October 22.
