PHC Swari found locked, 7 attached

RAJOURI,  Apr 19: Block Medical Officer Kandi, Dr Iqbal Malik  attached seven Health Department employees after he found  New Type PHC, Swari (Kotranka) locked  and all the staff members absent from duty.
Giving details, BMO disclosed that his office received specific complaints from the public about routine absence of officials from duty causing great inconvenience to the them.
“Taking cognizance of the matter and to ascertain its genuineness, a special team was deputed to PHC Swari. The team visited the Health Centre and found it closed and none of the staff member posted in the health institution was found present”, the BMO informed adding that locals of the area also held a protest against the health officials for failing to deliver health services.
Regarding the action, he informed that all officials including one doctor, one pharmacist, two FMPHWs, two Safaiwala and one   nursing orderly,  have been attached with CHC Kandi and new staff has been deputed to the CHC.
He said the report has been forwarded to Chief Medical Officer Rajouri with recommendations to place the erring officials under suspension.
Those recommended for suspension are- Dr Sabeen Choudhary (MO),Mohd Riaz Pharmacist, Virta Devi and Ram Kali both FMPHWs, Mohd Shafi and Khadam Hussain Safaiwallas, Nursing Orderly Akhter Ali Shah.
