People refuse to allow burial of militant

Such was the anger against the Pakistani militants, who martyred two BSF jawans and injured 13 others in terror strike near Samroli this morning that the people in Chenani refused to allow burial of slain militant’s body.
A large number of people gathered outside the Chenani hospital and held massive demonstration outside the police station after body of slain militant Naved was shifted there for post-mortem and burial. The people gheroed the police station and threatened police of dire consequences if any attempt was made to hold post-mortem of the militant in Sub District Hospital, Chenani and burial of the militant there.
The protests continued for about an hour. Finding no end to the trouble, police yielded to demand of the local people and shifted body of the slain Pakistani militant to the District Hospital, Udhampur.
Sources said some organisations have told the administration that they wouldn’t allow burial of the militant even in Udhampur but police was trying to persuade them.
In view of resentment among the people, post-mortem on the body of Naved hadn’t been conducted in the District Hospital Udhampur when the reports last came in.
