People realized hidden agenda of PDP: Mir

SRINAGAR, Mar 28: Lashing out at PDP-BJP Coalition for adopting wrong methods to remain in power, Pradesh Congress Committee president and Cong- NC candidate GA Mir has blamed the ruling dispensation led by PDP for the deteriorating situation in the Valley.
Addressing joint meetings in Dooru and Devsar Constituencies today, Mir castigated PDP for adopting wrong methods to contain situation, arising in the Valley, rather than creating a congenial and friendly atmosphere. He said the ruling dispensation has let loose a reigns of terror, aiming to quell people agitating against the wrong policies of the Government.  PDP can go to any extent for power, but the day is not far, when this party will be wiped out for ensuing space to communal forces in the State, he said.
Mir further said PDP’s   tall claims about the development and safety of the people has proved a blatant lie. People have realized that this Party which came into existence with support of RSS, has betrayed them for joining hands with RSS, which is fully responsible for communal discord in the country.
Describing PDP as irresponsible and opportunist, Mir said this Party can go to any extent to implement agenda of RSS in the State, rather it has started working on that agenda. He hoped that people will not come under the false propaganda and tall claims of PDP, as they do not have any expectations from this party as it fully responsible for death and destruction in the Valley.
He said People will never forget they have voted to defeat the communal forces from making inroads in the State, in 2014 elections, but  it is the PDP itself, which has facilitated entry of communal forces in the State, by sacrificing its principles.
Reiterating his appeal to people to vote for INC- NC candidate in the upcoming elections, GA Mir felt confident that people of South Kashmir and Central Kashmir will cast their vote in favour of INC- NC Candidates.
Addressing the gathering, former ministers Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Sakina Itoo,  Gulam Ahmad Shah, MLA Mohd Amin Bhat, MLA Usman Majeed,  MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, senior NC leader Farooq Ahmad Ganie appealed the to vote for Mir  and ensure his victory. Ashish Dua, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Indu Pawar, Zaffraullah Khan and Shahena Nadaf also addressed the gathering.
