JAMMU, Apr 17: Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement along with the angry mob of women, children held strong protest for no drinking water supply for the last three days.
They said that long power cuts in Jammu city and particularly the West Assembly constituency localities have created lot of problems for residents.
Addressing the protestants, Dimple said the people do not have even a single drop of drinking water for the last one week, as water supply has been badly affected.
He warned to intensify Jan Andolan against the PHE Department for its irresponsible attitude.
Dimple also demanded the immediate start of work on Chenab water supply project.
