JAMMU. July 30: The J&K State Pensioners Association has urged upon the State Government to implement 7th Pay Commission recommendations in the State and release 6 % DA installment in favour of pensioners and State employees.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Krishan Singh, the members demanded that 7th Pay Commissioner report be implemented without any more delay. They also demanded release of 6% DA installment and enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to at least Rs 1000 per month, if not Rs 5000, which is being paid to the Ministers and Legislators by Govt.
